A DAY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE // ARAN SWEATERS DIRECT

Cardigan: Aran Sweaters
Sandals: thrift

Hello!
Today I'm very happy to introduce a new retailer company I've had the luck to collaborate with: Aram Sweaters; it is an Irish based company that sells some fine woolen knitwear.
They gave me the chance to chose a product from their store and it's the cardigan I'm wearing in this outfit post, as you can see.
The parcel arrived very soon, the item was neatly packed and didn't smell funny like the other products I usually receive via mail... I found the service pretty satisfying, I have to say.
Plus, when I went to make this photoshoot with my boyfriend (the unmissable assistant to all of my crazy projects) it was a quite chill evening by the countryside, so this cardigan really helped me avoiding a big flu ! ! !
If you want to make a gift to somebody you love (your mom, you granny, your chilly best friend...) or buy yourself a quality treat, this is the right site.
Little footnote about the sizes of this shop: in my experience, they are pretty reliable. I ordered an M size because I like to wear my cardigans and jackets slightly baggy, and it fitted just as expected.

I've been missing for a long while, almost 4 months are no big deal when you're an aspiring blogger and you want to do something proper.
My life got flipped and turned upside down just like the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, that's why.
Exams, 2 house movings, more exams to get my professional certificates as a seamstress + model maker (yes, now I could even work in fashion if I want) I had to leave for an entire week and travel to Venice to see my dad, then I got back home and hosted a dear friend of mine I met on Instagram (she's a blogger too, you can check her IG profile at @rottenbambi ! ! !)
They were pretty tiring experiences but now it's over, luckily or unfortunately if you prefer.
Hopefully I will be more active now, I explicitly asked to get my new bedroom's wall painted in pastel colours, so I will finally use my very own set at home whenever I want.

I'm leaving you with this little bonus backstage video the company asked me to record - I definitely gotta buy a better camera but it's ok, I have no money so that's what you get.

XOXO c u next

WELCOME TO REALITY

Dress: Divided, H&M
Skirt/petticoat: second-hand, re-bought from a friend
Bracelet: handmade, gift from a friend
Frill socks + Holo "Ouija" bag: aliexpress.com
Shoes: Demonia

Hello hello hello.
How have your lives been, lately?
Mine sucks just as usual hehehehehehehehehehehehehe *swings in the corner*
Don't ask. 7 exams in a row are simply the best way if you wanna go mental. (≖͞_≖̥)
Thanks to Odin, today I have passed my theory test to get the driving license YAY! ☆ Now I have only 2 more left on the first days of July and then I can breathe, I can live and I can dedicate myself to the blog a bit more.

So: I'm very sad, but this time I can't tell very much about my outfit - except for the fact that I've probably broken a ton of "fashion rules" (for those who usually follow them HOHOHO but who does?) like using a dress as a top and wearing a petticoat as a tulle skirt.
Plus, you can see my little bra's straps under a dress which, supposedly, should be worn without displaying any of them BUT I don't care. I just wanted to be a Kawaii Kandy princess, let me dream ok? ╭(๑¯д¯๑)╮
Peace, love, candies and bunny fluff.

Yours,
Illy

→ (05/06/2015) LITTLE UPDATE:

What I feared has happened: apparently, men love to comment on my legs/tights/stuff.
I have received some pesky comments on my last Lookbook post, last night, and I felt that I really had to make some clarifications.
Being on LB just because you want to see a bit of legs here and there is simply pointless: that's not a dating site!
I feel treated like some piece of raw steak, on display in the window, anytime I post some pictures where my skirt is shorter or my lipstick is heavier: people come, make an estimation and, if they like what they see, they might want to buy me.
I hate when I try to show my own fashion taste and get only some form of judgement on the basis of my "attractiveness". I'm not raw meat: I am a person, I've got a hobby and I don't want it to be misunderstood. I don't need followers who can only think I am sexually available just because my tighs are more or less uncovered. Thinking that a girl (or a boy!) can be beautiful or attractive is just normal and it's perfectly legitimate, but I would never dream of going to some blogger's profile and leave him comments like
"OMG BOY YOUR ABSSS YUUUMMMMYYYYYYY KISS ME MARRY ME MMMHHHHH"
because he is a fashion blogger and not just some kind of idol for little girls!
...Well, there might be girls who actually do that, but personally I would find it silly...
Oh, that's not the point anyway.

In short, I don't please receiving comments filled with poor appreciations, you can think and feel whatever you want about me, but if you also mind my opinion towards you, just don't do it.
Please, try to understand me; if you don't, feel free to leave!
No hate, no flame, just peace, love and bunny fluff.

Have a good day and thanks for your attention :)

January 5, 2015

Happy new year, my friends!

I managed to have another photoshoot yesterday and I'm very happy about that.
I've prepared many sketches of possible looks I'd take pictures of, but I'm having an exam on Jan 20 and I'm currently locked at home, studying as much as possible... I'm very worried. ミ(×_× )
The only break I could take was yesterday: I went shopping and I finally bought new white shoes! (๑>ᴗ<๑)
Soon I'll post a picture.

Anyway, this is what I was wearing:

- Pink ribbon hairpin, H&M, € 3
- My forever-chosen-rings
- Vintage jumper, department stores, € 3
- Skirt, Sheinside, € 7
- Grey knee socks, my bf
- Duilio, local market of Via Sannio
- Leather bag, vintage - by mom

I hardly ever display my shoes' price for one reason: I believe you have to splurge on shoes, a bit. Good quality shoes are a matter of health, it just doesn't matter how much you pay them!
So I'll only write it when I'll catch a very special occasion, like sales or a very good conditions thrift item.

About my skirt, I bought it on Sheinside.com, as you can read: it arrived with a shirt I also ordered and since both items go well together, I think I'll wear them for a single photoshoot.

See you in the next post
and thanks to all who read this one!
Bye bye!
